Ian’s Cottage is cute, quirky and full of character. Sitting at the top of our garden it has magnificent views across green fields to the Mendip Hills in the distance - not a road to be seen! The lawned garden with south facing terrace is a real sun trap in the summer and a very peaceful spot to relax on a sun lounger with a good book. At dusk you may be lucky enough to see a barn owl swooping over the hedges or badgers and their young playing in the garden. It is a magical place.
Although the cottage is small it has all the comforts that are essential for a relaxing break. Warm and cosy in winter with a blazing log burner and the luxury of underfloor heating in the bathroom and kitchen. A large comfortable sofa provides seating around the fire. The simple country style furnishings enhance it’s rustic charm. Up the narrow wooden stairs you will find an enchanting light and airy bedroom where a peaceful nights sleep is guaranteed in the comfortable king size sleigh bed. Pull back the curtains in the morning to reveal that fantastic view and in the distance hear the sound of church bells ringing.
Featuring a living/dining room with log burner, comfortable seating and dining table, a small but well equipped kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and bedroom with king size bed on the first floor.
Ian’s Cottage is the ideal retreat for couples and a perfect place to unwind and recharge your batteries.

Please note:

Access is quarter of a mile down a farm track suitable for all but the lowest of cars

Due to it’s design and layout the cottage is not suitable for crawling babies, toddlers or children

Ian's Cottage has tiled floors downstairs so you may wish to pack slippers

No smoking/Vaping in the cottage please but you are welcome to smoke outside.

This is an old building and the doorways into the kitchen and bathroom are a little narrower and lower than normal

The short set of wooden stairs to the bedroom are quite narrow and slightly steeper than normal.
